Automated trading software operates according to a pre-defined trade plan or algorithm without the need for manual intervention. They also sometimes go by the name of Expert Advisors or EAs and often run as such on the popular MetaTrader4 trading platform. The so-called forex trading robots available on the commercial forex market generally fall into this category, as do personalized trade plans that traders program or have programmed themselves.
IG took second place for research, with a broad range of tools available through its web platform. The broker offers its own streaming video, IG TV, along with a vast array of daily blog updates and detailed posts from a team of global analysts. Lastly, the broker’s integration of DailyFx continues to evolve as the site remains a leader for retail traders seeking educational and research content.
In second place was Saxo Bank. The broker revamped its commission structure with the roll-out of additional tiers for both entry-level and active traders from its Asia offices. Previously, entry level traders only had the commission-free options where spreads were wider, yet with Saxo Bank’s new volume-based structure, even entry-level traders with low volumes now enjoy competitive commissions. A 0.5 pip equivalent added to low average spreads of 0.4 pips (using spread data from February 2018), results in an all-in cost of 0.9 pips on the EUR/USD. More significant discounts are available for higher-volume traders.
Candlestick charts present the same information with more visual variety. This type of chart uses two different colors to indicate the direction of change over time, one color for up and another for down. A thin line represents the range of prices offered throughout the day with a thicker bar filling the space between the open and close prices. Traders can determine whether the open price is higher than the close price based upon the color of the bar. Typically, lighter colors indicate a pair closed higher than it opened, while darker colors indicate a fall in price between the open and the close.
The situation with this broker is extremely deplorable, the reason for this - the manifestation of all signs of the scam and the fact that the company ceases to exist. Unfortunately, in order to understand this, I had to catch myself on their bait, although until February 2016 I had no problems with him. I apologize in advance for all the screenshots in Russian, they confirm all my words with answers in the Skype chat.
Saxo Bank took fifth place with its broad range of education-related materials, which are grouped by experience level and cover multiple asset classes including spot forex and forex options under the company’s Saxo Academy offering. Saxo also over a dozen videos on its YouTube channel under its TradeMentor series, in addition to materials on its TradingFloor portal.

Additionally, other market factors might trigger a purchase or sell alarms, for example, moving average crossovers, chart configurations (like triple bottoms or tops, or other pointers of support or resistance levels). Furthermore, automated software programs likewise enable traders to manage multiple accounts at the same time, a real plus not simply available to manual trades on a single PC.

You should consider reading customer product reviews that are posted online before purchasing, as they are a good source of information about the automated currency trading software. Price competition currently favours the consumer, so perhaps it's a good idea to shop around for the best deal, but be careful not to sacrifice quality for price. Prices for trading packages can range anywhere from hundreds of dollars to thousands. Lastly, look for a high level of service and technical support. This is crucial for Forex traders at any level of experience, but is especially significant for novices and newbies.
The next thing to be considered by the trader is the operating system which the software is built for. The trader should try to know if the software is Windows, Macintosh (MAC) or even internet (Java or HTML) based. While the computer based software may come with some restrictions in terms of operations, the internet based are easy to access as they do not require a computer system with some specifications before installations can be carried out.
