As a Forex trader, you will know how exhausting trading can be, especially if something goes wrong. There are traders who dream of a partner who is intelligent, not exposed to emotions, logical, always looking for profitable trades, and who can execute trades almost immediately. If you're looking for all of the above, the search might be over, as all of these qualities also describe the best automated trading software for Forex.
The trading interface is what the user of the forex trading software interacts with in order to execute forex trades. Such an interface needs to be both ergonomic and generally acceptable for your purposes. Most trading interfaces can be customized, but to what extent generally depends on the software. Adjusting window placement and display colors are common trading interface changes that most platforms permit.
BetterTrader.co is a cheap program that allows for multiple charts in view, back-tested statistical analysis and AI driven trade ideas. Besides that, BetterTrader.co provides a live events calendar that notifies the trader when an economic event ,that will affect currencies on their watch-list, is prepared to be released. BetterTrader.co also created the market sense and market wake-up functions. These alert the trader when a currency or future in their watch-list shifts in price or volatility dramatically.
What you’re about to see is a highly easy-to-use and, at the same time, complex software that gives you trading signals, whenever you want. Let me rephrase: Easy-to-use since everyone can use it, even if you don’t have no experience or never heard about Forex before. Complex, because it was developed based on years of testing plus testing. The software gives you trading signals, whenever you want...
System gone haywire – Even the best automated day trading software can trigger false trends. As price reacts to unfolding developments a false trend can spiral out of control. This was demonstrated in August 2012 by Knight Capital group; who lost over $440 million in just half an hour when their trading software went rogue in response to market conditions.
More sophisticated charting software generally offers some support for traders using Elliot Wave Theory to analyze exchange rate movements that would include calculating Fibonacci retracement and projection levels. Additional advanced forex charting software features might include: more advanced line-drawing options that include channels and Gann lines, computing and displaying Pivot Points, as well as providing a wider range of increasingly-complex technical indicators.
Ideally, most of your chart analysis should be performed on your trading platform, especially if you are a day trader. This is why it is important to choose a trading platform that supplies you with a wide range of tools and indicators, while allowing you to plot the chart over your favourite time frames. Of course, not every trader has a powerful trading platform, so it becomes quite important to find charting software that allows you to perform everything you need, as it would be quite hard to accommodate the use of more than two applications simultaneously.
Many thanks to those who have given positive reviews, your words are encouraging and it inspires us to strive for better results. We are always aiming to improve our robots and their performance. With FAPT2, our goal is to do so on the medium-term level which is different from the scalping approach that we used with the earlier FAPT1 (when brokers' spreads were much more conducive to scalping back in the day than they are now)
Live trading results – It is common for robot sellers to promise a winning ratio of 90-99%. But this figure is very deceiving, and you should take a look at the bottom of the page to find out whether the results are based on real time or simulated trading. As there is a big difference between results in real time trading, where markets can be very chaotic, and simulated trading where parameters are strictly controlled. There is also the fact that simulated trading doesn’t take into account liquidity, which is a crucial part of real-time trading. You should also bear in mind that simulated trading can easily be manipulated so that the Forex robot comes out a winner every time. Whereas real-time trading results show the true performance of Forex auto trading.
In addition, other market elements might trigger buy or sell alerts, such as moving average crossovers, chart configurations (like triple bottoms or tops, or other indicators of support or resistance levels). Additionally, automated software programs also enable traders to manage multiple accounts at the same time, a real plus not easily available to manual trades on a single PC.
As the title suggests, I’m looking for recommendations/your opinions on the best charting package to use. I’ve been demo trading on Oanda’s Tradingview ‘Advanced’ charts for the past 6 months, but I find it restrictive when it comes to actual trading. I have been trying out Ninjatrader with a separate demo account and I like it; but I’m not sure if it’s worth the $800 price tag for a lifetime license (and also that only a few brokers support them). Would it be worth me learning MT4? I know it’s the industry standard for retail traders. I don’t care about future proofing necessarily – I just want to starting learning and getting used to a good charting package that I will use when I go live within the next couple of months that won’t have the same limitations as Tradingview. Thanks in advance for any advice!
The main beauty of this platform is that it is vivid. There are thousands of traders and analysts that are publishing their forecasts and ideas, providing comments and assessing the content. You are not just provided with powerful charting and great analytics - you are also supplied with a chance to discuss a certain topic or a certain trading idea.

As for me, I still have to fill the hole in my heart for losing my husband in such a tragic way. I never re-married. I can't even think about it. The kids are my existence, and I am devoting all my efforts just to be with them, providing them with the love they need. They are the meaning of my life. So good luck to you guys, and I'm sure you will all succeed the same as I and many others have. It makes me stronger and happier knowing that I have helped so many people.
Automated trading software operates according to a pre-defined trade plan or algorithm without the need for manual intervention. They also sometimes go by the name of Expert Advisors or EAs and often run as such on the popular MetaTrader4 trading platform. The so-called forex trading robots available on the commercial forex market generally fall into this category, as do personalized trade plans that traders program or have programmed themselves.
If you are trading with a reputable broker, the chances that you are on MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 are pretty high. If you are on this platform and you are looking for an advanced charting solution - you should look no further. MetaTrader platforms are great because they are available with a great number of indicators attached to them, along with a lot of time frames for your analysis. What's more, customising your charts' look and adding your own indicators is simple to do.
If you've elected to report forex trading under Section 988, then you can import the data from your broker directly into TurboTax with a program such as GainsKeeper. Otherwise, you can enter the information manually into TurboTax as Miscellaneous Income. The software will ask you to input all income, including ordinary wages, interest, dividends and money earned under the category of "Less Common Income." For forex trading, you select the last category, and then select "Miscellaneous Income," and from the list of sources, select "Other Reportable Income." You then enter the description "IRC 988" and the net amount, either a positive number for your gain or a negative number for your losses.
One of my friends has developed an EA which is able to plot support/resistance lines on the charts. It doesn’t take any positions at all. So it is not an auto-trading robot. It just plots the lines. He wants to share it on LuckScout for free. It is a while that I am checking it to see if it is good enough to be shared on the site, and I have come to this conclusion that it can help novice traders learn technical analysis much easier and better. So I have decided to share it on the site. This is also the example of a good “white hat” robot. So in general I agree with you that some robots can help.
