I agree that most of what is available on the internet is total junk that does not work HOWEVER, I disagree it is not possible. in fact jpmorgan just announced they have developed an AI that replaces all of their manual traders and works far more efficient so now their client order entry is far more efficient. can their AI be used to speculate? of course it can! automation is the wave of the future which really, can you even call it a market any more with robot vs robot? I have developed my own which proves it is possible. the technology is unique and one of a kind unlike anything else out there I have seen and I have looked at just about everything. the system covers both range and trend at the same time which is unheard of. the key for my system was not being greedy. if you want to automate, which I recommend, just make sure you keep it very conservative always increasing the balance over time. when you are available to trade manually, cherry pick the positions and manage them correctly for the bigger boost in balance. the reason I chose to automate to begin with was to free up time and take advantage of the fantastic trends that occur in the market just about every day and certainly within each week without having to go crazy and blind staring at screens all the time. if works and it was not an easy thing to invent either. another thing, this blog recommends to trade daily bars and above which for manually trading is absolutely correct since the big money is always in the long term trends. the shorter term you go, the more noise in the market, the more noise, the less reliable = loss which is exactly why ***CORRECT*** automation for short term makes complete sense. besides that, as a small speculator, how are you going to compete with juggernauts like jpmorgan and goldman sacs who have unlimited resources to develop elaborate AI technology? simple answer, YOU ARE NOT! or just stick to the long term trends as this blog has already recommended and forget about short term which is unreliable for most if not all as this article correctly pointed out.
The downside is that successful automated forex trading systems can be difficult to develop. While backtesting may show positive results, past performance is never a guarantee of future results and many trading systems are over optimized – or curve fit – for past results. Traders should exercise caution when buying “off the shelf” automated forex trading systems since they may be curve fit to the past and offer no or limited benefits for the future.
At the moment they are actively looking for investors, attracting their promotional offers http://prntscr.com/f8mcji http://prntscr.com/f8mcos http://prntscr.com/f8mcsy . In the case of me it was a deposit insurance (for investments) for a period of one month. In this case, the deposit must be equal to 5000 dollars and more. There are no official documents confirming the existence of such a stock. Nikita Koltsov, who is also a client manager, and also a "bounty hunter", was able to provide only a manually compiled list of conditions that, in their opinion, is valid https://prnt.sc/f8hy9n. After that, he said that Alexander Fomin will be the manager of my investment portfolio. This person is also the main webinar's lead in attracting clients, in which they offer up to absurdly tempting conditions - up to insurance of profits. Here it is meant that the company is ready to pay the agreed percentage of profits to the investor if the trader, assigned to the portfolio, cannot cope with this task independently. So this person did not fulfill the stipulated conditions (trade with a risk of at most 20% of the entire depot) and, apparently, did not even pursue such a goal. Unfortunately, I could not understand this immediately, because I had no experience with shares, specifically with their specification. Next I provide a screenshot of the situation in which Fomin started in the moment my deposit, which miraculously managed to survive, although not completely http://prntscr.com/f8i99w . The reason he did not put stop loss levels, he explained, was that he was using hedging tactics. In fact, hedging did not work at all, since counter volumes were not selected correctly. That's what Fomin told me then http://prntscr.com/f8inzp https://prnt.sc/f8if1g http://prntscr.com/f8lyt6 http://prntscr.com/f8lzed .
ZuluTrade, founded in 2007, was created in order to enable traders to share their knowledge with people interested in their strategies. In the strictest sense, ZuluTrade is considered a Forex autotrading platform, as it allows traders to automatically copy the trades of others into their own trading platform. Many also consider it a social trading platform, however, because traders can leave comments and feedback and see live feeds of other traders' activities.
The trading interface is what the user of the forex trading software interacts with in order to execute forex trades. Such an interface needs to be both ergonomic and generally acceptable for your purposes. Most trading interfaces can be customized, but to what extent generally depends on the software. Adjusting window placement and display colors are common trading interface changes that most platforms permit.
System gone haywire – Even the best automated day trading software can trigger false trends. As price reacts to unfolding developments a false trend can spiral out of control. This was demonstrated in August 2012 by Knight Capital group; who lost over $440 million in just half an hour when their trading software went rogue in response to market conditions.
It’s important to practice trading before committing real capital and to keep an eye on automated systems to ensure that they’re performing correctly. [SEE: How to Practice Day Trading.] In addition, traders should be sure to build in money management and risk tolerance strategies to limit downside in the event that unexpected price action occurs – such as whipsaws.

Automated trading software can be a great way for beginners to observe how a professional traderapproaches the market. This gets back to emotional issues, the plague of all forex currency trading beginners. If you select wisely, and only place the robot on a demo account or small live account, you can sit back and “see how it should be done” at your leisure.
One of my friends has developed an EA which is able to plot support/resistance lines on the charts. It doesn’t take any positions at all. So it is not an auto-trading robot. It just plots the lines. He wants to share it on LuckScout for free. It is a while that I am checking it to see if it is good enough to be shared on the site, and I have come to this conclusion that it can help novice traders learn technical analysis much easier and better. So I have decided to share it on the site. This is also the example of a good “white hat” robot. So in general I agree with you that some robots can help.
Yes, of course, you have full control of the robots and your trade account. Our robots use very strict risk management system and will risk only small % of your account per trade. By default, robots will risk 1% of your account per trade, you can adjust the risk per trade based on your risk tolerance. Our recommendation is to risk 0.5% to 2% of your account per trade.
Dukascopy Bank maintained its fourth-place position, with a default commission tier of $7 per round-turn ($3.5 per side) and low underlying average spreads of 0.24 pips on the EUR/USD using spread data provided by the broker for the US Session during December 2017. Dukascopy Bank’s all-in cost on the EUR/USD of 0.94 pips (0.24+ 0.7 commission) for its entry-level offering, combined with higher discounts for active traders, helped the broker again finish Best in Class.

I decided to do a little more research and so I went to the internet wayback machine to see if the results have changed since 2010. I’m sure it’s no surprise to you, but they haven’t. The exact same backtest and story was being used when this software was first being promoted in 2010. That doesn’t mean that it’s a bad EA necessarily but it’s not positive that the only piece of proof provided is from 6 years ago.
